I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday period and have been enjoying the start of 2007.

This year is already well and truly rolling on and tomorrow it will be AUSTRALIA DAY.

So grab your friends, head to the beach or the cricket and enjoy the day in true Aussie style.

A few changes will be taking place with your community. Comments have been disabled on the submissions to encourage people to go to the artist's page and comment to them directly.

=PoisonedPure regularly visits member's pages to check on what they are doing, and keep a catalogue of members activity. Please remember to tell us if you have moved from Australia or closed your account. It makes our job a lot easier.

We would love to hear Art News from around Australia. Please note us of any gatherings that are going on in your state.

Update on Gallery:

I have noticed while going through our members galleries that some people have deleted, abandoned or moved from Australia. Please note us of those changes so that we can keep our gallery updated.

When I get time I will also be going through our members and categorising them into a journal so that it will be easy to find like-minded members in your medium. This is going to be a huge task though so please be patient. I'm only one person you know

What we are about:

This is a community for all Australian artists. All genres of art are accepted. The community was inspired as a network for australian artists. The purpose of this is to network and inspire likeminded artists, and promote our members.

Subscribing:

Please note us if you want to become a member. The only criteria is that you support and comment on other peoples work once in a while. If you wish to fave anything please click on their gallery icon and leave them a note so that they will know that you have appreciated their work and they do not have to keep coming back to this gallery to find out. After we have added you, you can start submitting straight away!

How to go about submitting your work:

Maximum one note submission per day per member. If you send us a note with more than one link on it, we will take the first one, and delete the rest. It is only fair to the rest of our members who want their deviations noticed too.

If you would like to submit something that is already in your personal DA gallery, just point us in the direction of it via a link in a note. Otherwise, email us something new with the information you would like to go in the artists comments. If you do email, please don't forget your DA name and the title of your work.
